17 Years in the Automotive Industry, One New Trade
I've spent 17 years in the automotive industry and 17 years running my own businesses. Before Auto Access, I ran a paint repair and detailing business for 15 years. In 2023, a combination of a difficult landlord situation and my own health meant it was time to close that chapter.
I didn't want to leave the automotive industry I'd built my career in, so I retrained, learning car key programming and diagnostics from the ground up. Becoming SERMI registered gave me the manufacturer level access to do the job properly, and going mobile meant I could build a business that worked with my health rather than against it, not just for me but for my customers too. I come to you, wherever you are.
So while I've been a dedicated auto locksmith for 2 years, it's backed by 15 years of hands on automotive business experience before that. This is not a trade I picked up overnight.
